Ejaz condemns unfounded propaganda

Islamabad, November 3:

Ejaz Chaudhri, Vice President, PTI has condemned the unfounded propaganda doing rounds in various circles regarding his links with terrorists.
In a statement issued from the party’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad, Ejaz Chaudhri contended that he had links with all such Muslim sects in Pakistan that were not involved in any terrorist activities. He was also in touch with Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and people belonging to any other religion.
He also said that he regularly received invitations from various quarters, but he goes only to selected programmes. Talking about Islam, he always gave the message of peace and harmony that was advocated by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Contrary to the nefarious propaganda, he said that he had never received an invitation from the SSP. He said that he believed in Chairman PTI’s vision that we should build a new Pakistan based on the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

PTI denies prospects of alliance with any party

Islamabad, November 3:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has clarified that there is no prospect of an alliance with any political party or group including Jamaat-e-Islami and PML-Q.

In a statement issued here from the party’s Central Secretariat, Raoof Hasan, Central Vice President, PTI said that the news appearing in this regard in the media were totally unfounded. It appeared to be a case of disinformation by people who were scared in the wake of the mammoth rally that PTI had staged in Lahore on October 30. It also reflected the absolute moral bankruptcy of the people associated with these parties who were spearheading a smear campaign to dent PTI’s credibility.
Raoof Hasan further contended that PTI, being a popular political party, was gearing up for the forthcoming elections. Being a party that was advocating for bringing change in the system that had denuded the country of its wealth, it could not afford to compromise on its inalienable stand against corruption and abdication of governance.
Raoof Hasan said that instead of wasting their time on such misleading propaganda, the political parties and their functionaries should concentrate on preparing themselves to face the PTI tsunami that was going to wash them away.

Lahore 30/10/2011 Revolution Pakistan-Imran Khan-PTI---Hypocrisy Unleashed

Imran briefed by Chinese officials on Poverty Alleviation, Population Control and Anti-Corruption Mechanism.

On the second day of the PTI delegation's China visit, a visit to Chairman Mao's mausoleum was arranged. The delegation also met with officials specifically dealing with poverty alleviation, population control and discipline (anti corruption measures).
Imran Khan and his team were briefed by the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation on how China managed to raise about 400 m people out of poverty. They were informed that while the high growth rate over the last 30 years laid a good foundation, it was just one of the reasons enabling China to alleviate poverty. Other reasons included reform of the economic system.
Imran Khan sought details of China's rural and urban poverty alleviation programmes. Later in the day, there was a briefing on how China manages population control.
The final meeting was with the Central Discipline Commission of the CPC which deals with inspection of Party officials and the government officials. PTI had especially sought out this meeting to learn how China deals with political and bureaucratic corruption. The meeting from the Chinese side was presided over by Mr Yao Zhengke, Vice Minister Supervision Ministry dealing with Discipline and Inspection. Anti corruption is the main function. But supervision also focuses on projects and development so it can be done more scientifically.
Imran explained the PTI's long term commitment to anti corruption and justice. Imran explained how corruption used to hinder Pakistan's development but now it threatened the existence of the state itself.
The meeting was followed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan's lengthy interaction with the Chinese media. An interesting side effect of Imran's presence in Beijing was his recognition by foreign visitors to the city from cricketing nations who kept taking pictures with him.
The visit of the PTI delegation, which included Dr Shireen Mazari, Vice President Foreign Affairs, concluded with a dinner in its honour by the Pakistani ambassador to China Masood Khan where the embassy officials, their families and other Pakistanis in Beijing were present - all eager to see icon Imran Khan. The ambassador graciously hosted around a hundred people on this occasion.
